Footy Cares provides support and care services that feel like being part of a team. One-on-one help for men and boys at home and in the community, built around the shared language of sport.
Our Team Around Him model makes choosing help easier, and builds trust, respect and belonging.
We Believe
Support starts with a conversation he already wants to have.
The power of sport to connect, energise and empower men doesn’t need explanation. Neither should it be excluded from their care.
Men respond to support that is practical, purposeful and side by side. We run like a footy club: a squad, a team culture and a shared goal - to strengthen identity, self-worth dignity and respect.
HOW WE HELP
Support that fits his week.

Social outings, Day trips, Club and peer group connections, volunteering & community work.

Funded through self-managed or plan-managed NDIS, or paid privately. Registrations in progress.

General cleaning, shopping, laundry, meals and basic maintenance to maintain a safe, clean and accessible environment.

Walks, feeding and vet trips, making sure the animal that matters to him stays with him.

Time out for the people who care for him, knowing he’s in good company.

Privately funded help while he waits for his Support at Home services to start.

Coordinators and plan managers
We support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, and privately funded clients. Registrations for NDIS and aged care are in progress.

Footy Cares is run by Careman Pty Ltd, a registered Australian company with appropriate insurance cover. We follow the NDIS Code of Conduct and align our practice with the NDIS Practice Standards. For older clients, we align with the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and the Code of Conduct for Aged Care.
All teammates are fully vetted to the required standard and complete a thorough induction against our policies and procedures. Through a values-based culture, we champion the best outcomes for our clients.
